With tao 2.8, IDL compiler throws an error 

Am getting an error "Error - tao_idl: "AgentDataServerV1.idl", line 54: error in lookup of symbol: L
processing AgentDataServerV1.idl"

the IDL file has the following entry in the line number 54

 const wchar ESCAPE_CHAR = L'\\';

Am using the version ACE+TAO-2.2a

Hi,

This also doesn't seem to work with the latest tao_idl, but does work
with the new IDL compiler we have as part of TAOX11.
